As you may know, we are incredibly excited to have kicked off our second-annual American Diabetes Wholesale Diabetes Educator of the Year Contest! We hope to get everyone in the community involved in honoring those dedicated heroes that are helping in the fight against diabetes.
Any and all diabetes care professionals are eligible to win the title of 2008 Diabetes Educator of the Year…this includes Certified Diabetes Educators, nurses, physicians and any other healthcare professionals that are making a difference in their community. If you know someone that has made a positive impact either on your life or in your community, we’d love to hear his or her story!
All you have to do to enter the contest is visit https://www.adwdiabetes.com/contest and click on “Nominate Your Favorite Diabetes Educator.” Then, just tell our expert panel of judges in 250 words or less why your nominee should be the 2008 Diabetes Educator of the Year. It’s that easy!
The winner will be flown down for a two-night, three-day stay in one of South Florida’s beautiful resorts, the Boca Raton Resort & Club, and he/she will be honored in a special ceremony coordinated by all of us here at ADW, together with our local diabetes advocate partners. We will also prominently feature the winner on our website and launch a public relations campaign surrounding the announcement, to inform the community at large of the work that’s being done to defeat this disease.
This year we are making the contest bigger than ever, so please make sure to get your nominations to us as soon as you can!
