A simple and flavorful mashed pinto bean dip seasoned with onion, garlic, cumin, and oregano, chilled and perfect for serving with carrots or celery sticks.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cooked pinto beans
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional: 1 Bag of baby carrots or 1 Bag of celery sticks

Method
 

  1. Cook pinto beans according to directions on product bag.
  2. Mash pinto beans in a large bowl.
  3. Mix onion, garlic powder, cumin, oregano and salt into mashed beans until well blended.
  4. Refrigerate and serve with carrots or celery sticks if desired.
