Cranberry Sauce

A simple cranberry sauce made by simmering fresh cranberries until they burst, then lightly sweetened for a tart and flavorful side that can be served warm or chilled.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups (8 oz) fresh or frozen cranberries
  • cup water
  • cup Equal® Spoonful or 16 packets of Equal sweetener

Method
 

  1. Combine cranberries and water in medium saucepan. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  2. Simmer, uncovered over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until skins pop.
  3. Remove from heat; mash slightly. Stir in Equal®.
  4. Cover and chill for later or serve warm.
