Best Breakfast Oatmeal
A warm and hearty apple oatmeal made with oats, milk, dried fruit, sunflower seeds, and maple flavor, finished with cinnamon for a comforting breakfast.
Ingredients
Method
- Peel and core apple and cut into cubes.
- In a medium sauce pan, combine milk oats, fruit bits or raisins, apple, sunflower seeds and maple extract.
- On medium high heat, bring mixture to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened (about 2-3 minutes)
- Stir in Equal and salt
- Serve warm or hot with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top
