  • Citrus-Infused Strawberries

    Citrus-Infused Strawberries is a very sophisticated fun way to get your vitamin C this year. It's a lovely dessert to serve and you can insist that you have it to keep healthy.

    It gives you 17 g of Carbohydrates, 2 grams of Dietary fiber, 178 mg of Potassium and 112% of your daily value of Vitamin C. And it's warming and yummy. Have it at the first sign of the sniffles.

    1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
    2 tablespoons sugar or equal artificial sweetener
    1 tablespoon Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur
    1 teaspoon lemon juice

    Preparation -- it's EASY!

    Combine strawberries, sugar, Grand Marnier (or other orange liqueur) and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Let stand, stirring once or twice, until the strawberries release their juice, about 10 minutes.
