Chicken Madeira Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4/12 cups quartered fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup low-fat sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons Madeira or dry sherry
  • Green onions, thinly sliced for garnish (optional)
