Roseanna

My sister Roseanna was diagnosed Type 1 at age 4 in 1957, there was no source of information back then other than your doctor which she did have a good doctor. We were having a family reunion in the summer, in TX and eating watermelon. Roseanna was 6 at this time and she wanted more watermelon but my mother said no she had enough. She lay on the ground shaking her body like when she has an insulin reaction but she was saying waaatteerrr melon, waaatteerrr melon. We had to laugh. Guess you would have to be there.
