Smith and Nephew SECURA Protective Ointment is ideal for treating rashes associated with diaper use and continued exposure to feces and urine. It helps to protect skin against minor irritation and to seal out wetness. Clove oil helps to mask the ointment’s odor, giving it a more pleasant fragrance. Vitamins A, D and E have been added to the formula to help nourish, soothe and condition sensitive skin, while petrolatum moisturizes. The protective ointment can be applied with each diaper or linen change.

Great Ointment

I was given the Protective Ointment in a bag with tons of gifts in it. The Ointment was the last to use but once I did, it became my favorite. I loved it so much that I looked it up and ordered 2. My husband loves it for his feet. It's a great skin barrier, helps my dry skin and relieves skin rashes. It soothes & relieves itching.

Good product

I used this product while in the hospital years ago. I could not find it locally so I looked it up on line and was able to get larger tubes and a good price. It came quickly and was all we expected.

smith nephew secura protective ointment

My husband is a diabetic and has very delicate skin and cannot tell me sometimes how he got abrasions. I am so afraid he will not heal. He was admitted to the hospital for two weeks and the wound team prescribed this ointment for abrasions he got in the hospital and we have used ever since. All the skin tears have healed without a doubt. Thank God for a team that knows their products. I also find them very inexpensive.
