Great cure for needle-phobia, completely painless

I started a GLP-1 about ten months ago on self-pay, meaning vials and an 8mm needle rather than an auto-injector. I did my own injections for the first seven months. The injections had a 50% chance of being quite painful (I now realize this was "needle shear" from my "just get it over with" stabbing action). Eventually I got so phobic that I couldn't bring myself to give the shot even after trying for an hour; my husband had to do them from that point onward. I needed to be able to do shots myself during solo travel. So I did some research and saw lots of recommendations for this Autoject 2. This thing is amazing! I adjusted it so the needle only goes about 4mm deep instead of 8mm. And because you're not "stabbing" and it's already in place, you literally don't even feel it go in. I have to check each time that my tummy isn't covered with liquid (it isn't), and that the syringe is empty (it is)... because I can't even tell I got the shot otherwise! Highly recommend for anybody phobic about self-injection like I was.

Works great

Works great for Copaxone injections, only after adjustments and adding a spacer plug that I created so the syringe fits properly. Now I give my wife injections instead of a family member.

Good, wish it were better

The only issue I've ever had with this is that sometimes it isn't quite strong enough to push in all of my medication, which I guess could be improved if I bought a wider needle, since my medication is thicker than water. I asked the manufacturer for help about my issue, but they said no. And apparently it's impossible to buy springs anywhere unless you are a large company or something, ridiculous. However, having an intense fear of needles AND needing to give myself deep injections every week - this device is simultaneously a life saver and my only choice if I want to stay even semi-healthy. I hope working with a fatter needle isn't going to be a problem because of how important this is. And unlike some people, I don't have cash to burn on buying tons of medical supplies that aren't going to do the job. Crossing my fingers over here.

Great Product

Works as advertised. Set up is not as bad as some reviews suggest. Just follow the directions and once you have the settings that work for your syringe it is a piece of cake. Crazy how much easier this makes auto injections.

HRT SubQ

Perfect to inject the viscous hormone shot at the correct depth with minimal pain. Worth every penny and then some. Makes the syringe easy to hand without going over depth.

Autoject 2 is a life saver for pet diabetes care

I adopted a Chiweenie off the street who was starving due to type 1 diabetes. She was 2 lbs underweight, just skin and bone so a 6mm needle was terribly painful. This autoject 2 let's you adjust how much needle comes into the skin. No more screaming and biting at meals!

Exactly what I needed

I have never been able to get over my fear of needles. A friend directed me towards ADW Diabetes and the Autoject 2. This tool has made the process so much less intimidating. It was shipped fast and their site was easy to navigate. I will order from here again.

Pleasantly surprised!

I was doing regular sub-q injections in my thighs and abdomen and I struggled to do any in my arms. I decided to give this a try and was completely surprised how easy it was to inject with it. After I became familiar with how it worked, it was pretty easy to load the syringe to do the injections. I sometimes have to give others injections, too, and after one complained an injection "hurt", I started using the Autoject2 with them and they like it (a smooth, consistent push of the medication and much easier to hold steady during the injection). Since then, I've started using it for all my injections, but not because I'm scared of the needles, I just prefer the ease of doing the injections. I recommend if you don't have the steadiest hands for doing injections, or if you are scared of needles.
