Vitale Silicone Super-Absorbent Dressings are extremely absorbent and provide an ideal moist environment for wound healing. They are soft and conformable to fragile skin and are effective in minimizing pain and discomfort. Vitale Silicone Super-Absorbent Dressings are indicated for the treatment of light to heavily exudating wounds, and they assist in protecting the wound, preventing bacterial contamination and skin maceration.

• Vitale Silicone Super Absorbent Dressings are sterilized by ethylene oxide and must not be re-sterilized.
• The silicone adhesive covers the entire wound or covers the primary dressing surface, & allows the center of the dressing to gently adhere to the wound or the primary dressing.
• The border attaches firmly yet gently to the periwound tissue, helping prevent breakdown of surrounding tissue.

Vitale Silicone Super-Absorbent Dressings have 3 layers:

1. A soft silicone wound contact layer that is conformable for intimate skin contact. The silicone layer provides flexible adhesion, to the wound & to the border, and has many holes to pass exudates through to the absorbent layer, controlling excess moisture.
2. An absorbent pad made of Super-Absorbent fibers, which is extremely absorbent for highly-exuding wounds and helps provide an ideal moist wound environment.
3. The waterproof yet vapor permeable outer film is gentle and conformable for fragile skin.
