The softer material of the new tap allows for improved body comfort with its streamlined shape. Whereas ease of use while connecting the bedside drainage system to the pouch is allowed by the adapter's new side tab design. Protection against erosion is provided by the Flextend barrier which is long-lasting. And it is comfortable enough to wear for longer periods of time without irritating the skin. The plastic belt tabs make it easy to attach the pouch to a belt.
