Optixcare Eye Lubricant was designed for use within a clinic as a routine protection provided to eyes during anestetic. This product is economical and effective for use as part of the multi-pronged approach to dealing with "dry-eye". Unlike mineral oil or petroleum based eye ointments, Optixcare is formulated with a sterile water base. Only one drop per eye is needed because of the water base and the gel viscosity. The frequency of application will depend on the veterinarian's direction and the pet owner's capability, but Opixcare is very safe and non-irritating.

Dry eye gel

I bought this originally for my little dog who is blind and has dry eye because the vet recommended it. Now I've found out that I also have dry eye. This product works great for both of us!

Dry eye gel

Our 13 year old miniature bulldog has extremely dry eyes. I give him a prescribed antibiotic and then 15 minutes later I apply Optixcare gel. His eyes are so much better!

Dry eye relief

My son's 12 year old miniature bulldog had extremely dry eyes. Optixcare Eye Lubricant has provided much relief for him. Because it's a gel it's so easy to apply.

Optixcare was recommended in July by a Veterinary Ophthalmologist for my 13 yr old male Westie for dry eye. I can really tell it gives him relief. I also have dry eye & like this gel much better than drops. Highly recommend it for humans and your dog!
