The Abbott Osmolite 1.2 Cal High Protein Nutrition 1500ml Case of 6 is a low-residue nutritional formula designed to provide supplemental or sole-source nutrition for tube-fed patients. Osmolite is available in caloric densities of 1.0, 1.2, and 1.5 calories per milliliter. The 1.2- and 1.5-calorie products are high in protein and can help patients gain and maintain a healthy weight. Osmolite provides complete, balanced nutrition, and is fortified with ultratrace minerals and conditionally essential nutrients - important ingredients for tube-fed patients. OSMOLITE 1 CAL is a tube-feeding formula for patients with caloric requirements of less than 2000 Cal per day or for patients with increased protein requirements. Can be used for supplemental or sole-source nutrition. For tube feeding and may be used for oral feeding of patients with altered taste perception. For use under medical supervision.
