The Covidien Curity AMD Antimicrobial Gauze Sponge contains PHMB (Polyhexamethylene Biguanide) to fight bacterial colonization after a wound is cleaned. This feature makes this gauze perfect for applications like debriding, general cleaning, minor prepping, and wound dressing and packing.

The gauze provides protection against yeast microorganisms, such as VRE and MSRA, fungi, and gram-negative and positive. It limits cross-contamination, which gives the wound plenty of time to heal fast. This sterile gauze is 8-ply and comes in a square size.
