When choosing insulin syringes always make certain that the concentration of the insulin you are using works with the syringes you are using. The vial of insulin and packages of syringes will be clearly marked as U-40 or U-100. You never want to mix these - always use U-40 insulin with U-40 syringes and U-100 insulin with U-100 syringes.

These syringes are to only be used with U-40 insulin. Do not sterilize or reuse syringe.

Good For The Price

These syringes are perfectly fine, even with the weird marking lines. I give my cat 2.5 units twice a day and I worked it out using an old syringe to get the dose right on these. I have no idea why these a numbered the way they are. It is weird, but workable with a little bit of ingenuity.

Insulin syringe

Everything was perfect and easy. I ordered five boxes and I made the mistake I needed 1/2 inch markings which these do not. Which makes it a little difficult doing a three unit dose of insulin.

These are better quality than the one Vet offers and whole lot cheaper.

I hate these syringes. They are not marked logically by units, but by two units. My dog needs pretty exact dosage and all the other syringes I have ordered are marked by single units. Now I am stuck with several boxes and guestimating her dose.
