Your hematocrit, or packed cell volume (PCV), should be 10-65%. If you're not sure of your hematocrit, talk to your health care clinician.

What is the test time and accuracy of Accu-Chek SmartView test strips?

These test strips have a 5-second test time and 15/20 accuracy.

As stated on the manufacturer's website:

95% of measured glucose results shall fall within ±15 mg/dL of lab reference value for blood glucose concentrations <75 mg/dL and within ±20% for blood glucose concentrations ≥75 mg/dL. (Data on file.)

How should I store my test strips?

Check the manufacturer's instructions for proper storage guidance. Strips from the Accu-Chek SmartView line should be stored in the original container with the cap closed. After removing a test strip, immediately close the container tightly to prevent humidity damage and inaccurate results. Store the test strips at room temperature (between 36 and 86°F). Do not store in the bathroom.

Don't expose Accu-Chek SmartView test strips to moisture, heat, or humidity. These strips shouldn't be used in temperatures from 57 to 104°F or relative humidity levels between 10 and 80%.
