The Curity Non-Sterile 8-Ply Gauze Sponge by Covidien is a high wicking, latex-free gauze. It is a USP Type VII Gauze, which means it has 18 to 22 threads per inch.

It is ideal for several applications, like debriding, general cleaning, minor prepping, and wound dressing and packing. The peel-back wrapping of the sponges allows you to use them easily and prevents any transfer of bacteria. The sponge is sterile, soft, and highly absorbent, making it perfect for home-care settings.
