  • Green Tea? White Tea?

Has Green tea been shown to help at all with diabetes?

    What about White tea?

I'm mostly curious because I was reading that Green tea is such a boon to the digestive system in general. But it's confusing because most diabetics want to slow down their digestive system . . . and does Green tea speed it up.

    Green Tea

I don't believe it will help with glucose levels, however, the substances in it allow the body to strengthen overall and that is good to protect a person with diabetes from the possible complications.

I haven't seen white tea much in the stores recently, but doesn't it have more antioxidants than green tea?

I like them both, and have bought both the tea bags and bottled kinds.
