    Stress is an aggrivate of diabetes. Stress raisies glucose levels in response to adrenalin loading. Stress and adrenalin uses up B vitamins. IN a clincal study a connection was found between diabetics glucose ocntrol and low B vitamin levels.
    It was concluded that Diabetics i order to better use glucose and have a natural insulin sensitizer shoudl take B vitamin supplements or eat vegetables higher in B vitamins.

    I found personally this to be true. Between using actos and High conceentrtated B complex with biotin and C, I cn interchange actos for B vitamins.
    My stress levels are lwoer, my hair dosnt fall out as with acts and I dont get lactic acidosis as much wiht Bs as with ACTOS.

    So is it possible that stress can actually kill you when you have diabetes?

      Nothing should just kill you if you monitor your BG. When it gets to high, the doctor will get much more agressive with treatment.

        Stress is bad , so destress yourself.

        Stress doesn't help in anyway whatsoever. So always have a uncomplicated and relaxed approach towards life.

        Observe your SELF. Change your attitude if need be. Be relaxed and positive. Do not be excessively competitive.

        Exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet. This along with your positive attitude will ensure you live long and healthy.

          Exactly. With control and better monitor then that diabetic person would be okay.

            That is what I am working on to maintain control of my stress and it is unhealthy all the way around of having unnecessary stress.

              why the obsession with what can kill you?

              As soon as the egg and the sperm come together we are a slow boat to death. why obsess with it.

              Diabetes is teh same as having hazel eyes, buck teeth, hairy backs, nearsighted, far sighted, no chest pr pecks, a geek, dork, or jock. ist part of you. And just like any flaw you have to learn to deal with it, accept it and not obsess with it. Just do everything youcan to keep healthy and happy.
              A happy outlook is the most important piece of medical advice anyone can give and get.

                Well... the part that sucks the most maybe. I'm not happy about that part of myself, but there isn't anything I can do, so I guess I have to live with it.

                  its how you preceive how its going to affect you

                  Many peopel, like me just dont think of it as a weight. Its just something that we have and take care of. LIke really bad feet or body odor that wont go away, or maybe your balding, or a nymphomaniac.. ya know, its just you.

                  It shodl never stop you form doing anything that is productive, interetsing or just plain fun!

                  Yes you can ride a roller coaster, yes you can throw up afterwards,, yes you candrive a car, eat a hot dog and pretzle and wear funky clothes..
                  Its how you show the world you are coping with it that makes it a burden or problem.

                    Thank you. My partner is pretty stress free outwardly but I do believe he has much emotional stress that he does not show.

                    I will look in to this B complex and try to fix it in to our diet.

                      Hi there,

                      Strain and stress is the reason for type 2 diabetes and we got to tackle them with great skill. In my case I was subject to more stress because of domestic problems and I am on the verge of getting diabetic. My parents are diabetic and I may get as a matter of hereditary. We have to find ways to relieve from strain and stress and try to stay cool. But I think this is not possible in this highly mechanical world.

                        Stress is very bad for the health. It causes bad things to happen in the body by releasing acid producing chemicals and the body needs to be alkalized. An alkalized body is one that takes in plenty of fruits,vegetables, and takes in little meat, breads,artificial sweeteners, or other toxic laced foods commonly found at your local poison markets, make that super markets. Doughnuts are probably the worst food of all if you can even call that a food. The market I go even puts doughnuts in the aisles and the check outs so people will grab them out of hunger and as an impulse. Impulse shopping at the poison market is not good. Instead of the produce section being the first thing you see when you enter the store, it is usually hidden at the back of the store and the junk is all piled up in the front. Having worked in a grocery store I know there is pressure on the manager from the poison peddlers to showcase their garbage first at the front of the store and in the aisles in portable containers. If one wants to know how healthy a person is just look at the shopping cart and then look at the person pushing that cart. It never fails. Try it sometime just don't be the one pushing around the load of garbage food.

                          If Stress comes, B-Complex is recommended as for women's health. Be relaxed and positive.
