I just wondered if any of your doctors had recommended a trainer to supervise your exercise program, so you don't have problems with going too low with cardio exercises.
I still struggle with using my insulin pump, with temporary basals for exercise. I turn the amount down to 50% or 75% and after 30 minues on the treadmill---walking, not running-- I am already low!
I doubt that Medicare and AARP Supplementary insurance would pay for this trainer, but it sure would help.
If you know anyone who has one, let me know!
If not, could you give me some advice for exercising?
I am type 1 with a medtronic mini med pump- no CGM since Medicare does not pay for it!!
